“The years start coming and they don’t stop coming” quips an iconic late-90s song — and boy are those words true. We’re at it again with another quarterly roundup! Check out some of our top moments from the last three months, including new hires and in-person events!
July
This month, the Marketing and Sales teams started going back into the office once a week on alternating days. For some of us, this was the first time working in-person in over a year! We even had a team member who’d never met anyone in person, since he was hired when we were fully remote.
A couple major events in July included seeing our Centipede work stand featured in WWGOA’s 2021 Live Product Showcase, as well as attending our first in-person trade show since 2019!
Finally, we also brought on new team member Paulo to be our Inbound Logistics Coordinator. With the wild ride that has been supply chain management over the last year and a half, we are very grateful for his hard work.
August
At the beginning of August, we held our mid-year sales review — which was the first time the whole team was in the office together in a year and a half. It felt like no time had passed at all in many cases, yet we’d spent almost 18 months remote!
We also launched our new Router Motor in August. This tool has been in the works for a long time, and it’s been awesome to see it come to fruition.
Additionally, we expanded our team again! We were able to bring Jonathan, our new IT Administrator, and John, our new Customer Service rep, aboard in the middle of the month, and they have been crushing it since day one. Welcome to the team!
September
September was a busy month for our traveling salesmen. This month, Josh, Asher, and Rocky all attended the Emery Jensen, Ace, and Do It Best trade shows in person. We haven’t had a trade show week like this in a long time!
And last, but not least, we are thrilled to welcome Frank, our new CFO! His good mind for strategy and business have already proved critically helpful as we plan for 2022 and beyond.
